As an Independent self-funded mayoral candidate, as you may know, will require an active, engaged and organized grassroots movement for a representative city government of the people, by the people and for the people of Anaheim.
I am running for mayor to because like you, I believe in the Constitutional Right to Life for our soon to be born children. As Mayor, I will work with our school districts to open more charter schools to fast-track smaller class sizes for all of the schools. There are of course many other reasons why I am running for mayor of Anaheim.
I have already spoken to many of you, have carefully listened to your concerns, fears, and expectations. After being moved by you, I am eager to work with you and your friends. Committed volunteers are needed to share our grassroots message to ensure a more representative form of the city government of the people, by the people and for the people Anaheim want and deserve.
Anaheim is the most critical city in Orange County because of revenue, population, and industries. As Mayor I will be active in working hard for many issues that our City Hall refuses to address like immigration reform, job creation, and so much more. As Mayor I will work for all of our residents, documented and undocumented. Together we can fight for genuine immigration reform that keeps our families together, demand smaller class sizes for our children, active environmental protection for longterm food security for our families, renewable energy to power our AI datacenters, real election reform by removing money from politics and so much more.
Furthermore, I also understand as a veteran inner-city educator that universal education is a human rights issue of our generation. We have to eliminate student debt once and for all. All Californians deserve quality health care that includes dental, care, regardless of race, income and legal status. Universal healthcare is an investment in our human capital for our children, families, and communities, and a healthier workforce is a more productive workforce for our economy.
As Mayor of Anaheim, in an ever interconnected global economy interdependent on immigration growth, I will address global issues that do impact our local economy, communities, and vitality. Now more than ever we need Mayors to stand up for what is right, just and fair for all of our city residents, documented or undocumented. I am proud to have met many Anaheim residents that have DACA status. I propose a controlled, safe, Christian amnesty pathway to citizenship for our undocumented daughters, sons, mothers, and fathers living in California. We don’t have an immigration problem; we have a human rights opportunity to show our better angles as believers in a higher calling. We are all Californians. It’s time for our former DACA recipients to have a just, fair and humane pathway to legal residency and eventually Unites States citizenship.
As your next Mayor of Anaheim, I will also lead legislation city-wide for a more accountable and transparent city government. I have always been a proud supporter of our ICIJ (International Consortium of Investigative Journalists) and the Offshore Leaks Database. I will pledge to remain faithful to our Federal Constitution by working hard to protect and expand our First Amendment, Free Press Clause and Free Flow of Information Act. I will personally work with the ICIJ to open a satellite office here in Anaheim to promote unbiased news coverage to uncover any official misconduct in the city of Anaheim.
I will also say and do what is best for Anaheim, California, and America when neither the Democrat or Republican permanent political party establishments will not. Such as the former NSA employee and whistle-blower Edward Snowden. I have and will continue to advocate that Edward Snowden is offered full immunity in exchange for full public testimony. We in California have the most number of elected members of our United States Congress than any other state. I will work hard as mayor with our local Congressional members to make an Edward Snowden plea deal a reality. For Edward Snowden to remain in a foreign country is a testament to the Democrat and Republican permanent political party establishments failure to work together for the best interest of safety, security, and prosperity of the people of Anaheim, California, and our entire country.
You might ask what one person can do? A lot, as a volunteer you can contact voters via social media, e-mail or telephone to arrange a meet-and-greet. You and your friends can start a local canvassing door-to-door on your street, to let voters know about our election on November the 6th, 2018. As you can imagine, I cannot do this alone. Both Republican and Democrat political party establishments do not want an Independent candidate like myself in a debate asking and answering the difficult questions like the out of control higher cost of living, diminishing purchasing power, a livable wage, SB 400 (state government pension obligations), smaller class sizes, funding for schools, and more. That is why I am inviting Californians who want our city government to return to what it originally was meant to be – a representative form of city government that serve the best interests of ordinary citizens like you and me.
Join our Independent movement and help make a real difference for our city of Anaheim, our state of California, and our great nation. Our democracy needs your voice more than ever to ask the hard questions and demand answers. We are not here to ask other people for their hard-earned money. We will never ask people for money that career politicians always do, that in turn have done so much harm to undermine and weaken our democracy, intentionally or unintentionally.
Be the change you want to be, be different, vote Independent! Thank you in advance for your encouragement and support. I look forward to hearing from you. As a volunteer, you will learn about policy making (legislation, domestic and foreign affairs), journalism (press releases, proofreading, etc.) and technology (web design, social media, etc.).
